Weighing, made a ten-second job

Whether you're watching a puppy grow, helping a cat slim down on a vet's diet, or keeping a close eye on a tiny gecko.

Log in seconds

Press and hold your pet's picture and type the weight. Forgot on the day? Back-date it.

Trends in plain words

Bacon looks at the last four weeks and tells you how things are going, so you spot a change early.

Charts and history

Zoom from the last month to all time, or switch to a table showing the change between readings.

Every kind of pet

Cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles and more, each in kilograms, pounds or grams.

Share with your household

Invite family or your pet-sitter with iCloud sharing. It doesn't matter who did the weighing.

Your data, your way

Syncs across iPhone, iPad and Mac. Export a CSV for your vet, or import weights you kept elsewhere.

Bacon's weight history for a dog, showing a steady downward chart

See the trend, not just the number

A single reading doesn't tell you much. Bacon reads the last four weeks and sums it up for you.

↘ Losing ~60 g per week → Weight stable ↗ Gaining ~100 g per week

Adding a new weight in Bacon

Hold, type, done

Press and hold a pet on the Pets screen to jump straight to a new weight, or tap Add Weight from their history. Give each pet its own unit, so your dog can be in kilograms and your lizard in grams.

Add a date of birth and Bacon shows how old they are, down to the week for puppies and kittens.

Bacon's table of weigh-ins with the change between each reading

Every weigh-in, ready for the vet

Switch to the table to see every reading and the change between them, as a weight or a percentage. When it's time for a check-up, export the lot to a spreadsheet.
